In the Community

Chinook Country Veterinary Clinic is proud to be a part of the vibrant community of Olds and Mountain View County.  Being members of the Olds and District Chamber of Commerce allows us to expand our network in and amongst the community.

We are advocates of animal and equine health and are thankful for opportunities to provide educational sessions to local 4-H clubs, as well as support local 4-H fundraisers.  We support both the Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Association, Tales to Tell Rescue, and the Wild Rose Humane Society’s Spay & Neuter Program.

Chinook Country Veterinary Clinic encourages students to explore opportunities in the veterinary medical industry by providing an annual bursary for a graduate of Olds High School entering the Veterinary Technologist or Pre-Vet program. We support Olds College students in the Veterinary Technologist and Veterinary Medical Receptionist through practicum placements in the clinic.

As avid horse owners and riders we love to see kids get the opportunity to experience horses and learn to ride for the first time. To help with this great cause Chinook Country Veterinary Clinic has provided complimentary equine dental services to Blue Bronna Wilderness Camp and Pioneer Ranch Camps.
